Helping SA’s Recycling Project.

As a charity we assist families, children and elderly with monthly food parcels. There is so many individuals who can’t find employment, Helping SA has found a way of assisting individuals by enabling them to learn and earn money through our recycling project. Helping SA is in the process of collecting and processing materials that would otherwise be thrown away as trash and turning them into new art and crafts, example – pen holders, candle holders, photo and mirror frames, lamp shades etc. Recycling can benefit our community and the environment.

We are collecting:

~ Plastic Bottles

~  Old candles, pieces of candles

~  Beads and Marbles

~  Glass bottles

~  Pieces of materials, wool, lace, ribbon

~  Old scratched cd’s / dvd’s

~  Cd Spindles

~  Old tyres

~  Flower pots

~  Old cup and saucers, plates, bowls

Our recycling project, will teach individuals how to recycle, how to make arts and crafts with recycled goods, this will enable them to make different items to sell to earn money so that they will be able to provide that little bit extra for their children.

If you could please collect theses items for us it would greatly be appreciated, we will send out a driver to collect at your earliest convenience.


We will also appreciate any donation towards our other needs for this project, that includes –  bigger working space as we at the moment have to fit everyone and everything in one small room, glues, drills, cutters all other crafting equipment.

Some of the work we are planning
