  • A Legacy of Love
Our Legacy of Impact: 2008 – 2026 For nearly two decades, we have been dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty across South Africa. From immediate relief to long-term empowerment, our milestones include:

Numbers that represent lives changed: "hope statistics."
  • 131 FAMILIES transitioned from crisis to complete self-independence.
  • 348 FAMILIES provided with consistent nutritional support.
  • 145,000 BLANKETS distributed to keep the cold at bay.
  • 15,852 INDIVIDUALS clothed with dignity.
  • 4,970 CHILDREN equipped with the uniforms and supplies needed to stay in school.
  • 12,310 GIFTS delivered to homeless and vulnerable children, ensuring no one is forgotten at Christmas.

BEYOND THE BASICS
  • Healthcare Support: We have supported 390 children in state hospitals, providing sleepwear, toys, and travel costs to ensure no child faces illness alone.
  • Infrastructure: Completed 6 "Fix-It-Up" projects, renovating and furnishing safety houses and early childhood development centers across the country.
Founded in 2008 by Eerica Van Dyk and registered in 2013, our organization is a registered South African Non-Profit (NPO 115-333) dedicated to fighting poverty through both immediate relief and long-term empowerment. We believe that no one should be "locked out" of opportunity, which is why our work spans the entire country—supporting families, orphanages, and old age homes from every corner of South Africa.

Your support drives our impact. We invite you to donate and become part of the hope statistic—moving beyond the numbers of poverty and into the numbers of lives changed.
As a registered NPO under Act 71 of 1997, all donations to our cause are tax-deductible, allowing you to invest in the future of South Africa while receiving the associated tax benefits. Together, we can unlock doors, change lives, and continue building a legacy of hope.

Your contribution transforms from a donation into a lifeline. Choose how you will make an impact today:

The Care & Comfort Pillar Provides a Care Package for an elderly individual or a child in a state hospital, including essential toiletries, new sleepwear, and comfort items to restore dignity during difficult times.

The School Essentials Pillar Supplies a child with the Stationery and Uniforms required to attend school equipped and ready to learn, ensuring poverty doesn’t stand in the way of an education.

The Nutrition & Warmth Pillar (Families & Elderly) Provides a comprehensive Food Parcel and Clothing for a struggling family or a vulnerable elderly person, ensuring they have the nutritional support and seasonal wear needed to thrive.

The Medical Support Pillar Funds a Medical Care Package for families with sick children, covering specialized needs, travel costs to state hospitals, and essential supplies that the state system does not provide.

The Community Legacy Pillar A larger investment that fuels our "Fix-it-Up" projects and long-term Self-Independence Programs, helping families and the elderly across South Africa transition from daily survival to permanent stability.

HOW TO DIRECT YOUR GIFT

When making your donation via EFT or the contribution form, you can choose where your "Hope Statistic" begins.
Simply use one of the following Project Codes as your payment reference:
  • CARE: For elderly and child hospital care packages.
  • SCHOOL: For stationery and school uniform kits.
  • FOOD: For family and elderly food parcels and clothing.
  • MEDICAL: For medical support and hospital travel costs.
  • LEGACY: For "Fix-it-Up" projects and independence programs.

If you want to focus on a specific group or project, you are welcome to add, Elderly/children/winter

If no code is used, your donation will be allocated to the area of greatest immediate need.
Why every 1 Rand counts in our mission:
  1. R1 builds the foundation for a R2,200 monthly food parcel that saves a family from starvation.
  2. Every cent fuels the "Hope Drive," our primary offensive against the crisis, where 1 in 5 children go to bed hungry.
  3. Small contributions combine to provide a R200 festive gift, ensuring poverty doesn’t steal a child’s right to joy.
  4. Your change provides the "human touch," supporting wellness checks that cure the silent crisis of loneliness for our elderly.
  5. Cumulative donations unlock independence, like the 131 families we have already helped transition from aid to self-sufficiency.
